COMBINATION SKIN: MY MOMENT™ RITUAL
Combination skin, as its name suggests, combines more than one skin characteristics and has the risk of going from one extreme to the other. That is, if it is not properly cared for.
Use our products and tips to make sure your skin is healthy:
1. Be aware that your skin needs may change.
2. Apply products according to areas (oiliness/dryness)
Stress increases the production of cortisol in our body and creates skin alterations, which you may feel as extra oilines or extra dryness. Combine in your ritual stress reduction techniques that we recommend in each product.
Below, we recommend3-4 key products, with more information about your skin condition and key tips below.
Step 1: Purify cleanser
Frequency: Twice a day
We will use Purify Cleanser as the second step of the double cleansing, the aqueous phase of this process. Inhale the product with both hands together and feel how the aromas relax each part of your body.
Massage the product onto dry skin, and then we will add a little water for its emulsion, after that remove excess. *Put more emphasis in the oily areas of the face, so it helps to balance the sebum production
Step 2: Detoxify mask
Frequency: 1-2 twice a week. Apply a thin layer evenly to clean, dry skin. You may notice a warm feeling on the skin, this is a normal, harmless and transitory effect (not to be confused with a reaction).
Step 1 "Mask": Massage and leave on for 10 minutes while you take advantage of the psycho-wellness benefits of the essential oils that help reduce stress and promote concentration.
Step 2 "Scrub": Add a few drops of water and gently exfoliate the skin in circular motions. Insist on areas more prone to dirt or oil, such as the nose and chin.
Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Step 3: Moisture Light
Frequency: Twice a day

What does it mean to have a Combination skin?
As its name hints- its a skin type that combines more than one skin characteristics. It can be either normal-dry /normal- oily or dry / oily.
It is also usually divided by zones (The T-zone for example tends to be more prone to oiliness, and the area under the eyes and cheeks that would be the drier zones).
Combination skin has the risk of going from one extreme to the other. That is, if it is not properly cared for.

Tips, key ingredients and needs
Combination skin type is one of the most common skin types.
It is also the one that needs most adjustments in treatment; as different areas in the face react in a different manner to the same products.
You should be aware of that and the "trick" is to apply different products at different times / different areas of the face.
* In the oilier areas you do not over hydrate or irritate with too many products, so you will not have acne. Cleansing is critical as well.
* For dry skin, insist on applying the products with high levels of omega y 6. Make sure to use soft and very comforting face cream. use more hydration.

How does stress affect Combination skin?
Stress increases the production of cortisol in our body. High level of the hormone creates a "fight or flight" mode - where it signals the body to act , creating more skin alterations. As combination skin already combines few alterations, the stress causes it to be extended: oilier (and more acne) or drier skin with less luminosity.

There are gestures and movements that you can perform with your body to help your internal energy to flow correctly and to let go of blockages and tensions. For example, sitting for a few minutes with your back straight and relaxed, keeping your gaze straight ahead and your shoulders resting down. Bringing awareness to your back to straighten it inside and out allows you to feel confidence and align your energy centers. This pose naturally helps purify your body, mind and emotions because it brings stability and firmness.
Close your eyes gently and start taking deep breaths to connect with your inner self. Now visualize the energy radiating from your hands to your entire body. Feel how its properties begin to calm your mind, aligning your thoughts and letting go of what was causing anxiety or exhaustion.
Bring your full attention to the area between your brows and allow this area to relax and expand. Remember that it´s related to intuition and superior knowledge of what surrounds you and yourself. Concentrate and visualize how the energy purifies your entire head, your neck, your eyebrows and your eyes.
When you feel ready, imagine how all that same energy begins to descend through your spine and through your entire body, coming out to discharge to the ground from your feet. Feel how you are letting go, making room for a new and clean energy and how you are renewing your energy field, refreshing every cell, every organ, every bone.
